Weekly Chase 5.0

I hope you all had a great week!

This is going to be a busy week....so many things going on including a *baby shower* for my kind of sister in law Mara at the end of the week! I can't wait!!

Mara, Debbie & I.  The fabulous ladies that belong to the Butlers.

So here's what last week looked like for me....

Monday - Barre @ lunch - done
Tuesday - Barre @ Lifetime + 3.1 miles - done
Wednesday - Barre & 6.2 miles - I did barre + 3.1 miles in the swamp heat
Thursday - Barre - check
Friday - REST - if rest includes writing a paper, then I killed it.
Saturday - Fairview Half Marathon & a 100 yd dash for Louis - SO much fun!  More details to come...
Sunday - Moms Run This Town 5k/1mile Bunny Hop (Kid's Run) - we got rained out....BOO

I made some progress on my furniture projects this evening.  Things are looking good...another one is almost done.  I can't wait to share the outcome (and *finally* have a place to put my sweet grandma's dishes).

Louis *crushed* his 100 yard dash Saturday.  I'd love to share a picture, but it turned out as a blur!  Those kids were kicking it down.

What will this week in workouts bring?

Monday - Barre
Tuesday - Barre @ Lifetime + 4-6 miles
Wednesday - 6-8 miles
Thursday - Barre for breakfast
Friday - Barre
Saturday - more Barre + El Chupacabra 10k (an evening trail run) with my MRTT frunners!
apparently *this* is el chup

Sunday - even more Barre

And everything else....

A group project for my class (I loathe group projects).  I've already requested permission to take over.

Did I mention the BABY SHOWER?  Can't. Wait.

Finish at least ONE of my furniture re-do projects.  I have many more in queue.

Thursday is our Moms Run This Town group's birthday!  We are one year old & 510+ members strong!

What was the best part of last week for you?

    1. Thanks Erin! No theme really, just pretty in pink...the Butler side of the family is rather boy heavy so we are thrilled to be buying pink things! :)

  3. I love that you are still doing and enjoying (I hope) Barre!! Now that I'm doing Camp Gladiator, I realize the importance of cross training and how it improves the running.

Can't wait to hear more about the race and the baby shower. Boy or girl or suprise??

    Have a great week!

    1. Awesome Hildy! From what I've heard, you will get some excellent results doing CG. I am still loving barre! I'm almost kind of sad on the days I can go. Lol.
