The Weekly Chase #14

What a CRAZY week!!

It seemed like it was filled with never ending games of baseball and running around like crazy people, but looking back it was SUCH an AMAZING week!!

Like I mentioned on Friday, little lady Butler made her way into this world on Wednesday.  We have had the opportunity to visit her not once, but twice!  I got a lot of baby holding in on Sunday!

Louis and his new cousin - the first time he has held a new baby!

Ryan and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary of the best first date ever!  He surprised me with these *beautiful* flowers and we had dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.

We have fit a lifetime of adventures into three short years and I *know* there are many, many more to come!

Louis had lots of baseball games, a lot of hits, runs and some wins on some REALLY hot days.

 And Saturday night??

*Strait* up EPIC.

Some of my favorite friends and I enjoyed four *strait* hours of listing to this hottie.

He was joined by some of our favorite country stars as well.  It was like seeing 10 concerts in one night!  Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Martina McBride, Faith Hill and even more!  It was AwESoME!!  He sang all of our favorite songs, although I am a little bummed he didn’t get any of the Pure Country songs in, I have ZERO complaints.  We were so lucky to get tickets when they went on sale, instead of having to be one of the poor souls who had to shell out 600-800 dollars for the level four nosebleeds.

George definitely went out on a high note.

My week in workouts?

Kind of abysmal.

There were so many other things going on that I tried to get whatever I could in whenever I could.
I also started Advanced Pathophysiology this week.  Trust me, it’s as hard as it sounds and I’m already behind in reading.

I managed to get in several barre classes and a whole 8 miles.  I think this was my lowest week in mileage, like EVER.  I can’t even do a day by day play because there wasn’t much to report.

I didn’t run on National Running Day because I had a baby to hold!

My HIIT workouts I found really boring.  I just can’t repeat circuits like that.  I’d rather run 12 miles.   Barre is cutting it just fine for now.  I’m still gaining strength and have hit almost 60 classes already!

This week?

I’m vowing to do better. :D

My goals:

Barre: Attend 5 classes

Running:  Get back to double digits.  Run at least 4 days this week, including a 5k (my 4th!) on Saturday.
I have put on a few lbs from *not* running so much, that I KNOW I need to get back to it SOON.

Pretty simple, right?

I also need to get on top of my course work.  I have a pretty decent sized paper due the week we are in Hawaii and I do not envision myself writing a paper while lying on the beach. :)

Have a *great* week!!

    1. He definitely does NOT want a baby sister....well, maybe, for about 5 minutes, but the moment is fleeting. I think he *relishes* in being the only, spoiled child in this house. :)

  2. Now in King George's defense he did 1 Pure Country song, "When Did You Stop Loving Me" when he sang with Sheryl Crow. But I so wish he would have done "Cross My Heart". It was the most amazing concert for sure.

    1. OMG! You are SO right! I think I was waiting for something like "Where the Sidewalk Ends" and really "I Cross My Heart". I wish he had done that one too. I agree...it was still epically amazing!
