The Friday Five - My Favorite New York Minutes

Since I'm still flying high from the marathon this past Sunday and really from our trip there in general, I thought I may as well dedicate my Friday Five to one of my favorite cities - NYC.

So in no particular order and without giving away too much from the rest of this story...

#5

Halloween in the city!

#4

This view - it never gets old.

Sharing the view together - priceless.

#3

Ice skating with my little love in Rockefeller Center.
A NYC tradition.

#2

My two loves - cheering me on.

I'm pretty sure Louis thought this was amazing.

Trying to explain to Louis that mommy still had 8 long miles to go
and that he just couldn't run the rest of the way with me.
For the record, Louis ran some of the NYCM with me, it may have only been about
1/10th of a mile, but he did and now he wants to run this race when he is old enough.
I feel like I made him pretty dang proud.

#1

This.
It took three tries to get here, but *finally* I made the Times.

Thanks to Courtney @Eat, Pray, Run DC, Mar @ Mar on the Run and Cynthia @You Signed Up For What? for the Friday Five Link-Up!

  1. How sweet, Louis wanted to run with you! Love these photos too! Louis is definitely going to be a runner someday, and follow in his mom's footsteps! How awesome! He's getting so tall too!
